“Misty”, meaning nebulous, evokes a sense of mystery and an ethereal atmosphere, suggesting the presence of something that cannot be easily defined or contained. Smoke, by its very nature, is ephemeral. It forms, transforms, and dissipates quickly, creating an intriguing yet temporary visual spectacle. Thus, the name MISTY captures the essence of this concept, highlighting the beauty of transience and prompting the audience to reflect on their relationship with time, the appreciation of fleeting moments, and the ability to find joy in the inevitability of change. Regarding the pleasure of the ephemeral, MISTY invites reflection on the unique beauty that arises from impermanence. Additionally, its association with smoke suggests a multisensory experience; it encompasses not only the visual but also the tactile sensation and, metaphorically, the aroma and essence of the smoke. I wanted to draw a metaphor about something I truly enjoy: tobacco smoke. It enters your life, satisfies you for a moment, then fades away and it suddenly disappears.
